Sophal Song is Partner & Country Director
DAMSON Group (Cambodia). Sophal has been Country Manager for Agoda.com,
which is part of Booking Holdings, a Nasdaq listed $7 billion Fortune
500 company and one of the world's biggest online travel booking
platforms. He also served as Regional Manager for Agoda for both
Cambodia and Laos. Later Sophal joined Innotality Corporation as Group
Director of Revenue with higher responsibilities in offline sales,
e-commerce, corporate sales, and marketing. Sophal had also been part of
the senior management of the 5-star Borei Angkor Hotel and Temple Group.
At Agoda, Sophal was the first person to open OTA market in Cambodia
with main focus on hotels acquisition in key cities (Siem Reap, Phnom
Penh, Sihanoukville), managed a highly skilled business development team
of 7 people in Cambodia office and 6 people in Vientiane, Laos, and
recruited, developed, managed, retained, and mentored staff to ensure
adherence to all target and KPIs. He also managed top ten key accounts
in each city. He also implemented strategies and promotion activities
with partners to enhance performance and relationships.
Sophal is Graduate in Business Administration from National Institute of
Management. He is also a regular golfer.
