Richard Morrisseau is Senior Blue Ocean Strategy Expert for DAMSON Group Canada. As a dynamic change agent and strategic leader with a passionate energy, Richard is driven by strategy and results. He is an entrepreneurial and intuitive type of manager who has a unique combination of creative and analytical skills. Motivated by strategic planning, innovation and sustainable development, he has a visionary view of the business that recognizes the importance of looking for new opportunities.

Fluent in French and English, he offers more than thirty years of experience in training of professionals, managers and executives where he facilitated over 2000 days of management training sessions in more than 28 cities in North America, Europe and Asia.

Richard is a Fellow Certified Professional Accountant (FCPA) and Fellow Certified Management Accountant (FCMA) with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University. He also developed an expertise in Strategic Procurement at the European Institute for Procurement Management (EIPM) in Geneva, Switzerland and he has a certification in project management from the University of Montreal. He is also one of the few Blue Ocean Strategy recognized practitioners in the world. He is Certified Expert in Blue Ocean Strategy and in Innovation & Business Strategy from UCSI (Malaysia), and holder of the prestigious Order of Chartered Professional Accountants of Quebec (CPA). Richard also represented Canada for four years on the International Strategic Procurement Council (Paris).

Richard's international career over the past 30 years has provided him with a highly developed portfolio of expertise in leadership, management, strategic planning, business governance, finance, strategic procurement, change management, performance management, training and coaching.. He has worked for organizations such as Petro-Canada (14 years) and AXA (10 years) in Canada, France and the United States. Combined to his experience with small private companies, during his career, Richard has held executives positions such as General Manager, COO, CPO, VP Finance and Administration, Controller, as well as other senior managerial positions. Richard also served on the board of many private companies and not-for-profit organizations.
