CAMERON BATE

Cameron Bate is Partner & Country Director DAMSON Group (Australia). Cameron has over 15 years of experience in the transport industry and has an excellent understanding of transport logistics and its intrinsic effect on many other industries. He has been an owner and operator of a business providing services to the booming domestic construction industry in Sydney, giving him first-hand experience of many of the issues this highly significant industry faces including finance, government regulation, labour supply, materials supply, waste disposal and the effects of climate and energy policy.

Cameron is particularly interested in the circular economy, zero to landfill practices, regenerative farming practices, legacy mine site rehabilitation and the use of algae bioreactors in industry and agriculture, and the interaction between business, existing and emerging technologies and the environment.

Cameron has studied Business Turnaround Strategies with the DG institute, obtaining certification in 2020. He has an acute dislike for 'this is how it's always been done' thinking enabling him to think outside the box for solutions that aren't 'industry standard'. Cameron believes there isn't a problem in the world that can't be solved with the correct application of engineering, be that physical or electronic.
