COLA LARCOMBE

 

 

Cola Larcombe is Partner & Country Director DAMSON Group (New Zealand). She is a senior Strategy and Sales specialist with diverse and international sales, strategy, media and marketing expertise in numerous sectors including Tech, Wellness, Tourism, Property, Publishing, Media, Broadcasting and others, and consults to a portfolio of clients and agencies.

Cola acted as Media Director for the launch of School Road Publishing one of the leading publishing houses in New Zealand, publishing popular new titles Woman, Haven, Thrive, and Scout. Before School Road Publishing, Cola served as Marketing Manager for benergy/BEfficient Ltd. in Melbourne, Australia, planning and delivering the national go-to-market strategy. She has also served as Sales Manager for ICG in Auckland, New Zealand, one of the prominent marketing companies of New Zealand, where she was recognised by the MMA Magazine Media Awards 2018 as NZ Best Sales Person.

Cola has also been Senior Account Manager with MediaWorks NZ that reaches 95% of all Kiwis through it's Radio and Outdoor channels and MediaWorks TV, owned by Discovery, Inc, that includes entertainment channels Three and Bravo, streaming service ThreeNow, and multi-platform news and current affairs service Newshub, as well as the further channels Three+1, Bravo+1, The Edge TV and The Breeze TV. Cola was the Associate Producer for Redflame Media on TVNZ newly commissioned Digital OnDemand series, a Crown owned commercial broadcaster reaching more than 2 million New Zealanders through TVNZ 1, 2, DUKE, online entertainment destination TVNZ.co.nz, leading news site 1 NEWS NOW, socially-driven alternate news brand Re:, and the ad-free children's platform HEIHEI with NZ On Air.

Cola has worked as Agency Manager for Are Media Australasia's leading premium content and experiences company, managing large NZ brands and their agencies, connecting with almost half of New Zealanders each year across iconic titles including New Zealand Woman's Weekly, NZ Listener, Woman's Day, The Australian Women's Weekly, Your Home and Garden, and Air New Zealand's award-winning magazine Kia Ora. Cola also worked across the Tasman managing new launches for their Auckland and Sydney offices. Before Are-Media, Cola has been Associate Publisher with Pulp Publishing NZ.

Cola has had a wonderful international sales career as well, and she has been National Sales Manager for Oyster Magazine in Sydney, Australia and Sales Manager for DSide Publishing in Dublin, Ireland.

Cola graduated in Design (Bachelor) (BTech) from Cape Peninsula University of Technology, South Africa.
