BOB BARNETT

 

 

Bob Barnett is an internationally respected business strategist leading both strategy development and implementation, using the principles, techniques and methodologies of what was Value Innovation, the Strategic Logic of High Growth - and is now known as Blue Ocean Strategy.

Bob is one of a very small community of highly qualified Blue Ocean Strategy practitioners worldwide, working for companies, governments, not-for-profit organizations and institutions. He is an invited member of the Blue Ocean Global Network and INSEAD Blue Ocean Strategy Institute.

Bob's clients include British Airways, AC Milan, Henkel, IBM, Aviva, Thomas Cook and Samsung, together with many others including those operating in Private Equity, (where he developed specific tools to aid the assessment of acquisitions), Property Development, Building and Banking.

He has also cooperated with Professor Renee Mauborgne (Co-Founder of Blue Ocean Strategy) on client-related projects and is a keynote speaker for companies and institutions. He has contributed case study materials to the international best selling business book 'Blue Ocean Strategy' (over 4 million copies sold and translated in 46 languages worldwide).

Bob has wide experience in both advising to, and leading public and private companies in roles as diverse as Corporate Culture Change, Business Development, Sales, Training and as CEO and Managing Partner. He has held directorships for nearly two decades, during which period he has also led four successful business start ups.

He has a law degree from Kingston University (London) and has completed numerous post-graduate programmes in strategy, management, marketing and cultural change. He is also Programme Director at The Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK.
